We are Jessica and Sean Murphy, and we are incredibly excited and honored to be the new owners of Branch Nursery.
For me (Jessica), this is truly a full-circle moment. I started working at Branch Nursery over 25 years ago, and from the very beginning, I fell in love with this special place. Over the years, I had the privilege of working for Al, Eric, and Mike Gustafson, the family that gave our nursery it’s start. Each of them helped shape Branch Nursery into what it is today, and I’m so grateful for everything I learned from them. Their dedication to quality, honesty, and serving our community is something I deeply respect, and preserving the integrity and heart of Branch Nursery is very important to me.
When I introduced Sean to the nursery, he quickly fell in love with it too. While my experience comes from years in the nursery industry, Sean brings more than 25 years of leadership experience, serving as both an Executive Director and General Manager of businesses here in Minnesota. Together, we believe our backgrounds complement one another perfectly, and we’re excited to build on the strong foundation that’s already here.
Our promise is simple: we’ll continue to offer the quality plants, knowledgeable advice, and friendly service you’ve always found at Branch Nursery while looking for new ways to make your experience even better. We have lots of ideas for the future, but our commitment to our customers and our community will always come first.
To everyone who has supported Branch Nursery over the years—thank you. We are honored to carry this legacy forward and can’t wait to meet those of you we haven’t had the pleasure of knowing yet.
